With three different countries that have three different climates, with Vietnam having three different climates of its own as well, knowing when to go can be tricky.

With Cambodia and Laos having similar dry seasons, though Laos is a little shorter, the best time for travel to these two is from December to March.
However, with Vietnam, it is a little harder. Considering it is generally best to visit Vietnam for all three regions from November to April, it gives a clearer idea of the best time for all three: from December to March, when the dry season is at its best in all three destinations.
2. Do I need to take vaccination before traveling to Vietnam Cambodia and Laos?
Vaccinations for COVID-19 are recommended for travel to any destination, and in Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam, while it is not essential, it will make your travel easier.
With full vaccination and proof in a vaccination certificate, there are fewer restrictions and no requirement for testing, both before travel and on arrival.
However, if you are not vaccinated, it will not stop you from traveling.
In Vietnam and Cambodia, you will be required to take a rapid test on arrival, for which you will cover the cost.
In Laos, there is a requirement of having taken a test of either kind no more than 48 hours before travel to enter the country unvaccinated.

With 15 days to spend in these three destinations, you can better enjoy the sights of Hanoi, explore Halong Bay, discover Hoi and Hue, and delight in spectacular Saigon, before crossing the border to Phnom Penh.
Then you can fly to Angkor and experience the wondrous temples, and travel down to visit the awesome Tonle Sap Lake, before flying on to Luang Prabang.
And from there, it is a short hop to explore the Bagan Temples and end in luxurious Vientiane.
4. Are there any recommended things to do for a Vietnam Cambodia Laos family tour?
Traveling as a family is very different from traveling solo or with other adults, and you have to consider what the kids might want to do and see as well.
But a trip to Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam can be a great family tour, incorporating both cultural and outdoor activities to please everyone.
There are plenty of things kids can enjoy on a tour, such as exploring the ancient temples of Angkor and Bagan or delighting in the cityscapes and sights of Phnom Penh, Ho Chi Minh, or Vientiane.
