You will explore the ruins of ancient temples and towers of the Champa Kingdom between the 4th and 12th centuries. Then, you will continue your journey to Hue via the Mandarin Road. Today’s tour starts with a cyclo tour to the Thang Long Imperial Citadel, a former home to Nguyen emperors that lists as UNESCO heritage site in 2010. Today, you will enjoy a full-day trip to Angkor Wat, the will of the Khmer Empire that once ruled much of Southeast Asia. Your morning will begin with a tour of Ta Prohm, a site wrapped in giant silk-cotton trees and strangler figs through which you'll feel like you're in a Tomb Raider set. Then you will come to Banteay Kdei, a smaller version of Ta Prohm. You will go through the Victory Gate, Terrace of the Leper King, Royal Palace, Baphuon Temple, and Bayon Temple. Weaving and climbing through winding tunnels and secret chambers, you can experience the mystery of the land up close. After lunch, you'll have the whole afternoon to explore Angkor Wat, peering through the intricate and ancient stone carvings to see how it once flourished. Stay overnight in Siem Reap.

After breakfast, you will first visit Banteay Srei. This temple, built in 976 AD and carved out of red sandstone, is one of the three sacred temples in Cambodia and is dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. In the afternoon, you will visit Tonle Sap Lake, the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. You will enjoy the beautiful lake view and mangrove forests on a boat trip. Today you will continue this amazing journey to Luang Prabang. Enjoy your free time before you transfer to the airport for the flight to Luang Prabang. Today you will spend a full day exploring the city of Luang Prabang. After breakfast, you will first visit the Royal Palace Museum, where you can see many interesting artifacts, such as traditional costumes, jewelry, ornaments, rare furniture, etc. Then, you will visit Wat Xieng Thong, which is the most famous and beautiful temple in Luang Prabang. Built in 1560, the temple is a distillation of the ancient temple architecture style. Here, you can appreciate the classical Laotian aesthetics up close, from the roofs sweeping low to the ground to the gold pillars carved with patterns. After that, you will move on to the Wat Wisunarat temple and Wat Aham with impressive stupas. In the afternoon, you will head to the Arts and Ethnology Centre to learn more about Laos’ ethnic cultures and continue to visit the weaving villages of Ban Xiengkhong and Ban Xienglek. Later, you will get back to the city and visit Wat Mai before climbing up Mount Phousi. You will be indulged in the sunset view of the city and the Mekong River. After breakfast, you will enjoy a circular train journey to discover the local life in Yangon. You will get through local neighborhoods, small towns, local markets, and interact with some locals. After that, you will go to visit the famous Chaukhtatgyi Buddha Temple, which houses one of the most revered reclining Buddha images in the country. The Buddha is 66-meter long, and one of the largest in Myanmar. You will also see and take a picture of the grand Karaweik Hall royal barge. In the afternoon, you will enjoy your free time to wander the Bogyoke Market. Then take a stroll through the busy streets of the Chinatown and Yangon Jetty. At the end of the day, go to see the beautiful sunset view of Shwedagon Pagoda, which is the most sacred Buddhist pagoda in Myanmar painted with real gold. Stay overnight in Yangon.

After breakfast in the morning, you will leave Yangon and take a flight to Bagan. Bagan is famous for its historical monuments, and houses around 2000 temples and pagodas from different periods. You will visit the Nyaung Oo Market, the authentic local market where local people buy foods and daily necessities. Then visit the Shwezigon Pagoda, which is gold plated and is one of the oldest and most impressive monuments in Bagan. After having a rest in the hotel in the afternoon, you will enjoy a Horse Cart Ride to enjoy the sunset. Travelling through the pagodas in the quiet of dusk, you will feel the the tranquility and peace of the Bagan city. Stay overnight in Bagan.

Today, you will have an excursion to Mount Popa, a dormant volcano with many Nat temples and relic sites atop the mountain. You will visit the famous Popa Taungkalat Monastery, which is a temple complex located on top of a huge rocky outcrop. The monastery is home to 37 nats (Burmese spirits), statues of which can be found at its base. If you have the energy, you can climb up the 777 steps to the monastery at the top. You will enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding plains and Mount Popa itself. After that, you will return to Bagan. On the way, stop by a local village to learn about the local culture and lifestyle. You will also visit a palm sugar workshop, to see how they cook the nectar from the trees into the sugar cubes. Today, you will leave for Heho by flight. Upon arrival, you will be picked up and transferred to the Inle Lake. Located in the highlands of northern Myanmar, Inle Lake is the second largest lake in the country. It is more than 970 meters above sea level and is surrounded by mountains on three sides. The lives of local people are centred on the lake. A boat is tied to the front door of every house here, and the locals have been trained to paddle with their feet since they were children. Here you can see the traditional fishing method of local people. You will also visit Phaung Daw Oo pagoda, the the most highly revered monastery in the Inle Lake area, and then continue your boat ride to the Nga Phe Chaung monastery, which is a beautiful wooden monastery built on stilts around 200 years ago over the lake. After that, move on to the floating garden called Kyun-Hmyaw, which was built-up from strips of water hyacinth and mud. Stay overnight in Inle Lake.

In the early morning, you will leave Inle Lake and transfer to Mandalay. Of all the ancient capitals in Myanmar's history, only Mandalay has been preserved intact. Here you can explore various Buddhist monuments and historical relics. You will first visit the Mahamuni Pagoda, one of the most important pilgrimage sites in Myanmar. Then visit the Mahagandayon Monastery, a monastic college located in Amarapura, to learn about the monks’ education. After that have your lunch in a local restaurant on the City Harbor Bridge. Then continue to visit the Sagaing Nunnery to learn about the daily life of the nuns, before driving to Sagaing Hill to appreciate the stunning overview from the top. Finally, you will head to visit the famous U Bein Bridge. Built in 1850, it is believed to be the oldest and (once) longest teak bridge in the world. You can take a boat trip on the Taungthaman Lake, and enjoy the amazing sunset view of the bridge. Stay overnight in Mandalay.

After breakfast, you will take a boat trip to the ancient Mingun city, which sits on the banks of the Irrawaddy River. Here you will explore the gigantic unfinished Mingun Pahtodawgyi, and the huge Minggun Bell, the second largest ringing bell in the world. Here in Mingun you will also visit the Settawya Pagoda, which is a small, whitewashed Buddhist temple constructed along classical Pagan lines. And then the Hsinbyume Pagoda, which is a beautiful white architecture designed to represent Mount Meru, the center of the universe in the Hindu and Buddhist mythology. After that, you will travel back to Mandalay to visit the Shwenandaw Kyaung, a historic Buddhist monastery located near Mandalay Hill. And the Kuthodaw Pagoda, which contains the world's largest book. Stay overnight in Mandalay.
