Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City Arrival
Welcome to Laos!
Upon arrival,our guide will meet you at Tan Son Nhat International Airport and take you to your hotel. The rest of the day is for you to take a good rest or have a leisure walk around to have a glimpse of the city.
Stay overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City
In the morning, you will going to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, from which you can delve in to Vietnam’s turbulent history from the previous century. You will see how the tunnel network works and get to walk into the underground tunnels yourself and fell the wartime atmosphere.
After that, get back to Dong Khoi Area in downtown to explore the highlights of Ho Chi Minh City. You will walk to the Opera House and the former Hotel de Ville, visit the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office, and wander up to the War Remnants Museum to gain a glimpse of the war.
Your last sight for today is the Ben Thanh Market, where you can deeply feel the lifestyle of the old Saigon.

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City to Vinh Long and Can Tho
Today, you will take a full-day trip to the Mekong Delta. After breakfast, you will first take a drive to Vinh Long, a riverside town about 136km from Ho Chi Minh City.
Upon arrival, you will enjoy a boat cruise to the Cai Be floating market to see how the locals selling and exchanging goods from boats. Then, you will head to Binh Hoa Phuoc Island, where you will visit local villages and get close to the country life by visiting the family workshops. You will learn how they produce tiles, ceramics, rice-paper, and coconut-candy in traditional ways.
In the afternoon, you will move on to Can Tho. The rest of the day is your time. You can take a rest in the hotel or wander around as you like. It is recommended to go to the night market at night.

Day 4: Flight to Nha Trang
After breakfast, you will visit the largest floating market in Can Tho. It is an important hub for transporting goods from the Mekong to the rest of Vietnam so it is more crow opended and dynamic than other floating markets.
After that, you will drive back to Ho Chi Minh City for your flight to Nha Trang, the famous beach city in Vietnam.
Upon arrival, the rest of the day is free for you. You can relax in the hotel or go out for some street food crawl.

Day 5-6: Two days for freely explore Nha Trang.

Day 7: Flight to Da Nang and Transfer to Hoi An
Today you will take a flight to Da Nang. Your guide will meet you at Da Nang airport and take you to Hoi An, which is about a 1-hour drive.
Hoi An is the most atmospheric town in Vietnam. Strolling through the old town, you can get a close look at traditional Chinese, Japanese, and local Vietnamese architectures, experience the colorful local markets, and visit ancient temples.
You will visit the Chua Ong Pagoda, Chinese Assembly Hall, 200-year-old Tam Ky House, former merchants’ homes, and the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge. Also, you can visit the colorful local markets to experience the local’s life.

Day 8: Hoi An Tour

Day 9: Hoi An to Hue via Da Nang
After breakfast, you will visit My Son Holy Land, where a large complex of religious relics is. You will explore the ruins of ancient temples and towers of the Champa Kingdom between the 4th and 12th centuries.
Then, you will continue your journey to Hue via the Mandarin Road. You can enjoy the beautiful views over the South China Sea outside of Hue by passing through the Hai Van Pass.

Day 10: Hue
In the morning, you will first take a boat ride along the Perfume River to the Tomb of Minh Mang. Along the river, you will see the local life up close. Upon arrival, you will walk in the gardens of the Tomb to see the beauty of the ancient decorations.
Then, you will visit Tu Duc Tomb, a royal resting place for an emperor. Strolling in the garden, you will enjoy the perfect combination of characteristic architecture with local flavor and beautiful natural scenery.
After that, you will explore the Imperial City of Hue, which has been influenced by many cultures, both eastern and western and ancient and modern.

Day 11: Hue to Hanoi

Day 12: Hanoi
Today’s tour starts with a visit to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum. Then, you will visit the tranquil Temple of Literature.
In the afternoon, you will visit the Ethnology Museum.
At the end of today’s tour, you will explore the Old Quarter, the bustling area of narrow open open streets and alleys.

Day 13: Hanoi to Halong Bay (L, D)
After breakfast, you will transfer to Halong Bay, the spectacular World Heritage-listed site. You will board a traditional wooden junk boat and explore the jade waters studded with karst islands.
After lunch onboard, you will visit Trinh Nu Cave to see the stunning array of stalactites and stalagmites.
Then, you can go swimming or kayaking as you like in your free time.

Day 14: Back to Hanoi (B); Fly to Vientiane
In the morning, you can join in a T’ai Chi class on the deck of the Junk boat. The time before we leave for the airport is your free time. You can enjoy a refreshing morning swim or take one last look at Halong Bay.
You will disembark in Halong city around noon and transfer to Hanoi airport to take the flight to Vientiane, the capital of Laos.
Upon arrival, our guide will meet you at Vientiane Wattay International Airport and take you to your hotel. The rest of the day is for you to take a good rest or have a leisure walk around to have a glimpse of the city.

Day 15: Vientiane
After breakfast, you will start to explore Vientiane, the capital city of Laos. First, you will visit the National Museum to get to know more about the history of Laos. Then, you will visit the Wat Si Saket, the oldest temple in Laos with thousands of Buddhist images. After that, you will visit That Luang Stupa and Patuxay Monument.
In the afternoon, you will take a drive about 25km from Vientiane to Xieng Khuan, also known as the Buddha Park, which is filled with over 200 Buddhist and Hindu statues.
After the tour, you will get back to downtown Vientiane.

Day 16: Vientiane to Vang Vieng
In the morning we will pick you up and take you to Vang Vieng, a town in the north of Vientiane. It takes about 4 hours to reach Vang Vieng by van from Vientiane.
On the way, you will visit the traditional Hmong village at KM 52 and the archaeological site of Vang Xang, which was a Buddhist sanctuary during the 11th century. You will also visit the fishing village of Ban Houy Mo, and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
After arriving in Vang Vieng, you will enjoy a boat cruise along the Nam Xong River and get immersed in the beautiful scenery.

Day 17: Vang Vieng to Luang Prabang
Today’s tour starts with an exploration to Tham Jang Cave, one of the most famous caves in Vang Vieng.
Then, you will continue the journey to north to Luang Prabang. En route, you will visit Phahom village and experience the local village life at the street market.
Upon your arrival, you can have a good rest in the hotel.

Day 18: Luang Prabang
Today you will spend a full day exploring the city of Luang Prabang. After breakfast, you will first visit the Royal Palace Museum, where you can see many interesting artifacts, such as traditional costumes, jewelry, ornaments, rare furniture, etc.
Then, you will visit Wat Xieng Thong, which is the most famous and beautiful temple in Luang Prabang. Built-in 1560, the temple is a distillation of the ancient temple architecture style. Here, you can appreciate the classical Laotian aesthetics up close, from the roofs sweeping low to the ground to the gold pillars carved with patterns.
After that, you will move on to the Wat Wisunarat Temple and Wat Aham with impressive stupas.
In the afternoon, you will head to the Arts and Ethnology Centre to learn more about Laos’ ethnic cultures and continue to visit the weaving villages of Ban Xiengkhong and Ban Xienglek.
Later, you will get back to the city and visit Wat Mai before climbing up Mount Phousi. You will be indulged in the sunset view of the city and the Mekong River.
At night, you can explore the Night Market, where you will find kinds of handmade textiles, homemade handicrafts, etc.

Day 19: Luang Prabang
Before breakfast at the hotel, you will first partake in a Morning Alms (Sai Bat) on the street.
Then, after having breakfast, you will go to take a 2-hour boat trip along the Mekong River to the Pak Ou Cave. En route, you will not only enjoy the scenery along the Mekong River but also see how the locals lead their life at the riverside.
Later, you will explore the Pak Ou Cave, where a number of gold lacquered Buddha statues are.
The last site for today is Kuang Si Waterfalls. You can enjoy the natural scenery, take some exciting outdoor activities, or just relax in the park.
After the tour, you will be transferred back to the city.
